Megan
Hartley
joined CLS in 2008 and brings a wealth of media relations and message
development experience to the firm. As a former journalist, Ms. Hartley
uses
her media instincts to help clients wade through sometimes adversarial
media
environments.
At CLS, Ms. Hartley provides
communications counsel and support to public affairs and corporate
clients,
including Pfizer Inc. and the Cruise Lines International Association. She
previously contributed to the implementation of an informational
campaign for
the Government of Egypt.
Prior to joining CLS, Megan worked as
a reporter for the Baltimore Sun, The Capital News Service and Intersection
Magazine
in Londonwriting about
topics
ranging from the environment to business. She also worked with the
Maryland
Technology Enterprise Institute to promote University of Maryland
led research projects.
Ms. Hartley is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Phillip Merrill
College of
Journalism, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a
Minor in
Classical Mythology.
