Senior Associate
Shira Levy joined CLS in 2007 and brings a wealth of media relations and communications research experience to the firm.
Ms. Levy works with numerous clients in both the U.S. and internationally. She assists the American Dental Association with an effort to manage state public affairs. Additionally, she supports the Comité Interprofessionel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC), the trade association representing the Champagne region of France, supporting its media relations and policy goals. She also helped the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative in an effort to secure more funding for their members.
Prior to joining CLS, Ms. Levy worked in both the Washington D.C. and New York City offices of Porter Novelli, one of the largest global public relations agencies. Ms. Levy contributed to both the consumer and research practices on a broad range of association and health care clients, analyzing primary and secondary research and creating communication strategies. Ms. Levy also spent time working at the U.S. Department of Commerce in their National Marine Sanctuaries division.
A Maryland native, Ms. Levy is a graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where she received a Bachelor of Science in public relations.
